ABOUT US

SNAP, Inc. is a private non-profit organization working to prevent child hunger, sponsoring child care providers and day care centers to improve children’s nutritional health throughout the State of Georgia.

What We Do:

For over 30 years , we have been a sponsor for Child and Adult Food Care Program (CACFP) which funds SNAP, INC, initiative to support eligible child care homes and daycare centers in the State of Georgia .

We provide financial assistance to eligible child care homes, child care centers, after-school programs and adult day care programs. We also help participants remain compliant with federal regulations required for CACFP funding eligibility. We also ensure that our participants have the technical assistance and training needed to operate an effective and efficient program.

Our Goals to Assist Participants:

Operate an effective and efficient program for the benefit of the children enrolled.

Ensure that children enrolled in the Child and Adult Care Food Program under our sponsorship receive nutritious meals in a clean, safe environment.

To provide staff to monitor compliance and provide support to participants under our sponsorship.
