Preventing child hunger across Georgia for 35+ years.
A private non-profit that handles CACFP sponsorship so child care homes, centers, and adult day care programs can stay focused on the people in their care.

What We Do
SNAP, Inc. is a private non-profit organization working to prevent child hunger, sponsoring child care providers and day care centers to improve children’s nutritional health throughout the State of Georgia.
For over 35 years, we have been a sponsor for the Child and Adult Food Care Program (CACFP), which funds SNAP, Inc.'s initiative to support eligible child care homes and daycare centers in the State of Georgia.
We provide financial assistance to eligible child care homes, child care centers, after-school programs, and adult day care programs. We also help participants remain compliant with federal regulations required for CACFP funding eligibility, and ensure that they have the technical assistance and training needed to operate an effective and efficient program.
How we support our participants.
- 1
Operate an effective and efficient program for the benefit of the children enrolled.
- 2
Ensure that children enrolled in the Child and Adult Care Food Program under our sponsorship receive nutritious meals in a clean, safe environment.
- 3
Provide staff for monitoring compliance and supporting our participants.
- 4
Maintain SNAP, Inc.’s standing as an equal opportunity provider.
