Parent Education
Parent Education is a series of workshops designed to help
parents learn about current issues facing adolescents.
Each session educates parents on a specific topic, allows
participants to explore new ideas, and to share what is
working in their own family setting. Presentations are
offered through a variety of venues.

Teen Parent Programs
Steps to Parenthood, a prenatal education program, is offered to pregnant adolescents and their
male partners on a weekly basis in various school districts and community centers. These classes
are designed to provide pertinent information to the adolescents so they have the best possible
chance of delivering a healthy baby.

Byron T. Miller Players
The Byron T. Miller Players are an intergenerational group of volunteers trained to use
improvisational role-play to address different issues facing today's teens and adults. Venues
include school districts, college campuses, churches, annual conferences and community based
programs. Presentations are interactive in nature and are customized to meet the needs of
audiences. Volunteers range in age from middle school students to senior citizens.
